Compliments And Complaints Procedure

Kootenay Emergency Response Physicians Association (KERPA) is a Canadian registered charity that was founded with the objectives of saving lives and helping the most critically ill and injured patients in our community. Without the generous support of the public we would not be able to provide this volunteer service. As a result, we greatly value our supporters and welcome all comments and feedback about our service.

Compliments

If you have a compliment, please speak with the person who provided the service or contact us directly at the below information. We will be pleased to pass on your comments to the member of our team.

If you would like to share your compliments more broadly, you can post a message of thanks on our facebook page or let us know when you contact us.

Complaints

KERPA takes complaints very seriously. One of our organizational goals is to pursue excellence in all aspects of our work. If you have a complaint, please speak with the person who provided the service or contact us by phone, or in writing by e-mail or letter. Complaints are best addressed and resolved at the time and place they occur.

What Can I Expect If I Complain To KERPA?

Complaints will not compromise your access or the service. We care about your experience and will work with you to formally address your complaint. We will aim to resolve it as quickly and efficiently as possible, in a personal and confidential way.

Unresolved Complaints

Where KERPA is unable to specifically address your complaint or your complaint remains unresolved after discussing this with us, you may wish to contact the Patient Care Quality Office (PCQO) directly. Complaints can be made in person, by phone or in writing by e-mail, fax or letter. Below are the details for making contact with the PCQO. Their website contains lots of information about how to proceed with a complaint.
