KERPA sends trained Emergency Response Physicians to the scene of the most critical 911 calls in Nelson, Castlegar and surrounding Kootenay Region. We are dispatched to calls where there is an immediate threat to life. Our doctors are trained in critical emergency care and arrive on scene in vehicles equipped with specialized medical equipment and medications to support the emergency services – bringing the emergency room to the roadside.
